Lamps by Hannah Nunn

I can't resist showing you one of my favourite birthday presents, a cow-parsley lamp by English lamp-maker extraordinaire, Hannah Nunn. Intricate papercuts, warm glow, no bulb visible. Stunning, no?

Handmade loveliness, in all sorts of  gorgeous varieties, do go and check out her fabulous website and blog. Makes me sigh happily just to look at it.

  4. The photo problem is, it seems, a matter of Picasa not storing anymore of my pics, so I have had a cull of rubbish/duplicate shots which has bought me some time, and then I will have to pay to store more. All a bit of a mystery to me, as I'm not sure why picasa has got my photos in the first place. hey ho! Thanks for the lamp appreciation, I think Hannah is a bit of a genius!

  5. I love cow-parsley, it reminds me of bike rides along country lanes in summer. I agree, Hannah is a genius, such a wonderful lamp. I had to smile at your comment about having "a cull of rubbish shots"... I imagine your rubbish ones are my best (see my blog for proof!). Abby x

  6. Yes I always wondered why Picasa has my pictures...I never asked to store them there either.
On a "lighter" note, I love that lamp...so beautiful and so Wildacre!

  7. I had to pay $5 fa year or more storage with Picasa...I think it might be the size of your images...that was my problem I exported full size images everytime!
if they are smaller thay take up less room...when you export them from iphoto you can select the format (jpeg eg.) and the size...small medium large and full.

    Good luck Belinda!

  9. Stunning! I'm new to cow-parsley - Would you plant it in the garden or is it just a weed?

I'm new to your Picasa dilemma, but I do pay extra for the Picasa storage to upload to the web. I find it to be affordable & a piece of mind. Hope that helps :) XOL

  15. Blogspot puts your photos in a 'Picasa web album' when you publish pictures on your blog. That is just how it works. I squash mine down to one to two hundred KB. Loads quickly, but not so sharp.

  16. As I write, when I look at your comment here, your 'picture' is broken. Do you have a picture loaded on your blogger profile? There I also see an empty frame. When you leave a comment on our blogs, if you have a picture, it helps us to recognise a new face ;~)

  18. Elephant's Eye, I am slowly getting things sorted, with my teenage son's help!

Harriet, I've hopped over to yours and left a comment there. Thanks for visiting, see you soon!

  19. Yay, got a picture on your comment.

Next, all I can see here on your blog is an "Atom" feed, which is Blotanical Stuart's SECOND choice. If you go to your blogspot dashboard - settings - site feed - and set up a Feedburner feed. And we will hope it works again.

BTW blogspot has JUST added an email feed. Some of your readers will prefer that. Not me, but I have added the option.

  22. Re : your photos - another strange thing is that your little photo has disappeared on my blog in the followers section. Just an 'X' where your lovely photo was (unless you aren't following any more but I don't think that's the case!!!) XX
