manna {11} wabi sabi beauty

There is a Japanese traditional aesthetic that searches for and finds beauty in the simplest of places, often in fragile, worn, and unshowy items. This time of year, when plants are pared back and touched by decay or weathering, the wabi sabi beauty is released. Exquite loveliness is so often there, but not always shouting its presence. Like joy, sometimes it has to be uncovered with a keen eye that values it and is looking for it, even in unlikely places and moments.
