My name is Belinda Norrington, and I live with my family in a slightly wonky converted barn in the English countryside. I am slowly turning the small field behind our house into a productive flower garden, full of varieties that are perfect for cutting. I sell bouquets and arrangements locally from April to October. They are seasonal, sustainable, chemical free and full of wild charm.

I also create handmade, contemporary jewellery, inspired by nature - observed closely in my garden and the riverbanks, wetlands, woods and fields that surround my home.  The curl of a leaf, the texture of seedheads, the subtle patterns of bark - these are all things that catch my eye and find their way into my making. When I walk in a beautiful natural landscape, I feel infused with calm and balance, and it is these qualities I hope come through in my work, and can be detected and felt by those that see and wear my pieces. Tiny, wild elements of the British landscape are explored and celebrated in my work, and the business name, Wild Acre, reflects this central source of inspiration.

I strive to make my studio practice as sustainable as possible, using natural alternatives instead of traditionally used chemicals, and offering eco gold and silver and fairtrade gemstones to my customers. More information, and my shop, please go to:  www.wildacredesigns.co.uk
